Exciting New Exhibit at the Kokomo Automotive Museum

Wild Horses: Celebrating 50 years of the Ford Mustang

The Kokomo Automotive Museum in Kokomo, Indiana is honoring the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang with a special exhibit. Entitled Wild Horses- Celebrating 50 Years of the Ford Mustang, the display features five Mustangs, including a 1964 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race Pace Car replica onloan from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum. There are two additional 1964 coupes, courtesy of Virginia Frisbee of Jeffersonville and Gary Buckley of Greentown, and a 1967 convertible, on loan from Dr. Donald Wilson of Carmel. Rounding out the display is a 1979 Cobra coupe owned by Dr. Perry Wainman of Greencastle. Three additional Mustangs have part of the regular collection for some time now and include a 1964 convertible, a 1970 Boss 302, and a 1989 convertible. The final car is being raffled at $10 per ticket to raise funds for the museum. Wild Horses runs Tuesday through Sunday at the Kokomo Automotive Museum until Friday, September 5.
